Eligibility Criteria
Applicants who are interested in applying should meet various eligibility criteria related to education, age, and different qualifications.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants should have a B.Tech/M.Tech or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 65% marks. Also M.E./M.Tech degree with at least of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 is valid. All required degrees should be from institutions recognized by AICTE/UGC. Only applicants who have passed their degrees are eligible. Degrees obtained through open and distance learning modes are not accepted.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for UR/EWS candidates is 28 years. For the OBC candidates, the upper age limit is 31 years, and for SC/ST candidates, it is 33 years respectfully. Age relaxation will be provided as per Government norms.
Other Requirements
For JRF25 to JRF28 posts, a valid GATE/NET qualification is essential. All required credentials should be uploaded in the specified format.
Application Process
Applicants who meet all the eligibility criteria should apply online through the official NRSC website, www.nrsc.gov.in. The online application starts from June 21, 2025, to July 11, 2025.
Application Fee
An application fee of ₹250 is essential for each post. This fee is non-refundable. The application fee will be refunded to eligible women, SC/ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen applicants who satisfy the eligibility criteria.
Selection Procedure
The selection of applicants will be done through:
- Application Screening: Firstly, all applications will be screened to check if applicants meet the required eligibility criteria.
- Interview: Applicants who are shortlisted after the application screening shall be called for an interview. Information regarding the interview will be sent to shortlisted applicants through email.
